A lifelong resident of Philadelphia, Betty was born and raised in the Kensington section of Philadelphia and has resided in the Northeast for over 50 years. A lifelong resident of Philadelphia, Ruth was a longtime member of The Sons of Norway, Lodge #125 and the former Trinity Lutheran Church. Ruth has been a devoted member of Faith Lutheran Church for the last several years. She was passionate about history and spent many years as a member of the Questers Club. Born and raised in Ontario, Canada, Gordon was proud to be Canadian and with that came his love for hockey. He worked for the Warner Lambert Company until he retired in 1990.
